Den daily, MIM-Kyiv’s partner, opened its Photobiennale on January 21. The show represents the photos taken in 2020-2021.

This show is unique. For the first time, it is a biennale. Out of thousands of entries, the jury selected 300 works.

A special section is dedicated to Yevhen Marchuk, the late Ukrainian statesman and one of the founders of the new Ukraine. The other section is a retrospective of photos shown since 1998. It is a true mirror of the country’s history.

“Den daily has never been mainstream but rather a navigator of the opportunities. All our ups and downs, accords, and disagreements are in the pictures. It is also the dedication to our photographers who have worked with us for so long. They reflect record our history. I thank all the journalists and photographers who ever worked for Den. They made this show possible,” Larysa Ivshyna, Den’s editor-in-chief said.
