Danylo Demianov, Coordinator of the Center for Interaction with Volunteer Organizations and Foundations, speaks about how the "Manage the Future" Charitable Foundation helps address these needs.

Danylo, the foundation's role in the hospital's life goes well beyond medicine. How do you see this kind of wide-ranging support?
The partnership with MIM Business School's "Manage the Future" foundation is a story of long-term, comprehensive care. The state provides the base, and the foundation's support allows us to receive consistent, targeted assistance on an ongoing basis - from ophthalmology medications to things that may seem invisible at first glance but are critically important for recovery: regular dairy products, household appliances for everyday needs, and small holiday gifts to lift spirits. My role is to be the bridge between the medical staff and our partners, so that help lands where it is needed most.
Why do everyday comforts and holiday gestures matter as much as medicine for the wounded?
Medicine restores the body - attention restores the spirit. When a soldier sees new equipment in the ward or receives fresh food supplies, he feels that someone cares about him and his wellbeing. It creates a sense of home, which the guys miss deeply during long periods of treatment. The consistency that the MIM business community demonstrates gives our staff confidence that they are not alone in this fight for the health of our heroes.
You mentioned plans to expand the partnership through cultural projects and events. How relevant is that right now?
It is exactly what the guys need for emotional relief. Recovery moves faster when a person's mind is taken off the war. Cultural initiatives and gatherings are a powerful tool for psychological rehabilitation. We want the hospital to become a space not only for medical treatment, but for the intellectual recovery of our defenders as well.
What would you like to say to the donors of the "Manage the Future" foundation who support these projects and the hospital overall?
Thank you for not getting tired. Your support translates into specific lives saved and dignified conditions for the rehabilitation of our border guards. We are not just patching holes - together we are building a quality system of care, respect, and dignity for every soldier.
