International educational forum dedicated to the main challenges facing business and society

MIM is a business school that is constantly changing and evolving. By studying current trends and forecasts for the future, we grow and overcome new peaks. It was thoughts about the future that inspired us to hold the annual Facing the Future International Education Forum.
Facing the Future is not just a Forum about innovations and trends in business, economy, or politics. This is an event that will allow many to look at themselves, their company and their country from a new perspective, having received insights from world-class thinkers and futurists.

On September 15, 2019, the 1st International Educational Forum Facing The Future was held, which was attended by more than 800 guests. The profit received from this event was directed to the charitable support of Ukrainian educational projects.

On October 7-8, 2020, the II International Educational Forum Facing The Future (in online format) was held, which was attended by about 600 guests.
Organizers of the event: MIM Business School and the global network "Microeconomics of Competitiveness" (MOS).
The new reality of 2020 made us reconsider priorities, question the usual business concepts and develop effective strategies. In these conditions, maintaining the competitiveness of individual companies and entire countries has become the most important task and challenge.
During two days, organizers and speakers sought answers to the following questions:

<blockquote> Facing The Future'21</blockquote>
On October 1, 2021, the 3rd Forum of the MIM Community Facing The Future on the topic Inspiration was held, which was attended by about 200 people.
This year, the emphasis was placed on the artistic component, therefore the art project "Micro moments of connections" was prepared, where with the help of the curator, researcher of media and visual culture Olga Melnyk, paintings of outstanding contemporary artists were collected: Maria Primachenko, Oleksandr Roitburd, Roman Mykhaylov , Oleksandr Sukholit, Tiberii Silvashi, Pavlo Makov, Dmytro Kovsan, Maria Kulikovska, and others.
The tone set by the exposition was picked up by the fashion performance show "Wear Ukrainian art" from OVERALL, a brand founded by MIM graduate Anastasia Bratkova. A meaningful addition was the lecture "Collaboration of fashion and art. How to create a trendy product that will really impact society?", and Art + Tech consultant, founder of Theta Arts and Mint a Star agency Taisia Poda immersed the participants in the latest trends between art and investment, looking for an answer to the question - " NFT: A Revolution in Art or a New Class of Digital Assets?”
The participants of the event were impressed by the improvisations and reflections from the playback theater "Vne Vremeni".
And the highlight of the evening was the performance of the band 8LIS5, founded by ex-members of Okean Elsa and Esthetic Education, and a Dj-set from the Frolov Dj School.

On October 6, 2023, the 4th International Educational Forum Facing The Future on the topic Reinforce.UA was held, which gathered around three hundred visitors.
This event became a kind of intermediate result of the international educational project ReinforceUA, which lasted online from June 2022 to June 2023. Speakers who have already met with the Ukrainian audience online volunteered to come and speak live: Christian Ketels, a professor at the Harvard Business School at Professor Michael Porter's Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness, and Anders Indset, the author of the book "Quantum Economy" and one of the best thinkers according to Thinkers50.
Also joining online were Guy Standing, world-renowned labor economist, author of the concept of unconditional income, John Morrison, CEO of the Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB), and Christian Sarkar, brand activism ideologue and co-founder (with Philip Kotler) and editor of The Marketing Journal.
Among the new friends of the ReinforceUA project are Marс Siegel, who was at the origin of the development of 14 ISO and ANSI standards on risk management, sustainability and security of supply chains, and Matthew Simmons, Head of Academic Affairs at IMD Business School Lausanne, who also spoke live.
The moderators were the teachers of the MIM Business School: Oleksiy Vinogradov, Vyacheslav Pokotilo, Oleksandr Sudarkin, Vadym Saveliev.

As it was at the forum Facing The Future .Reinforce.UA '23

During the Forum, the attendees received as a gift a book consisting of lectures given by the speakers as part of the <a href="https://reinforceua.com/en/">ReinforceUA project</a>. The publication contains texts in English and Ukrainian, published with the assistance of the company "Reforma Systems" in the publishing house "Samit-Knyga".
During the forum, the annual Impact Report from MIM was also presented, which describes what the Business School has been up to during the year, tells about the achievements of the community, how graduates adapt their businesses to the conditions of war and expand abroad.
