The MIM Business School hosted an open meeting with Myroslava Kozachuk, Founder &amp; CEO of Franchise Group, creator of the “First School of Franchising” and Franchise Camp projects, and a true trendsetter in Ukrainian franchising.
This was Myroslava's second presentation at our business school - substantive, rich in content, and practical. It featured only real-world experience, actual case studies, actionable advice, and honest answers to the audience's many questions.
Myroslava, whose portfolio includes dozens of franchises, spoke about her experience developing projects during the war. After all, it is precisely these examples, in her words, that inspire, give energy to act, prevent despair, and encourage moving forward. Among the case studies were well-known brands such as BoHlib, Napi, Universum Clinic, and others. Myroslava openly shared not only her successes but also her failures - and the key lessons her team learned.
Attendees learned the differences between classic, management, and service franchises, who can obtain a master franchise, and how to build an effective partnership model.
The speaker paid special attention to her experience working in the markets of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan and also analyzed the McDonald’s business model as an example of effective franchising.
To conclude, Myroslava offered a bonus to the participants who, despite the harsh weather, attended the event, and shared a list of questions to help them avoid “buying a pig in a poke” and make an informed decision about purchasing a franchise.
The two hours of intensive interactive discussion flew by unnoticed.
Myroslava concluded the meeting with the following words:
<blockquote>
“I hope everyone finds a dream that will inspire and guide them forward. We have a lot of work ahead of us. And we don’t need to restore the old—we need to build a new Ukraine. And business is one of the main tools for this transformation. I believe that the time will come when Ukrainian franchises will be purchased all over the world.” 
</blockquote>
