International cooperation

Our lecturer Nadiia Omelchenko was the sole representative from Ukraine at the 32nd International Conference of Women Leaders, “Shaping the Future: Women’s Leadership, AI &amp; Gender Equality,” held in Israel.
The event was organized by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Golda Meir Carmel International Training Center (MCTC), and MASHAV. This is the first event of this scale in the last five years, and it was dedicated to the key challenges of our time—artificial intelligence and gender equality.
Nadiia Omelchenko was invited as the official representative from Ukraine by the Israeli Embassy in Ukraine.
The conference brought together women leaders from over 30 countries to discuss the creation of inclusive, balanced, and ethical AI solutions. Participants emphasized the importance of developing non-biased technologies that take cultural diversity and social norms into account and support minorities. They also discussed how women’s access to digital tools, financial inclusion, and participation in the development of technologies and policies is a path not only to equality but also to the sustainable development of society.
Nadiia Omelchenko noted:

“Promoting gender equality through digital technology is not just about access. It’s about turning confidence into capability, and capability into leadership. When women thrive in the digital economy, they lift up entire communities. And even during wartime, this transformation is happening every day in Ukraine.”
</blockquote>
During the panel discussion “Enhancing Gender Equality through Digital Technology,” Nadiia shared Ukraine’s experience - explaining how education, digitalization, and women’s participation in STEM fields help the country remain resilient even in the most challenging times.
Nadiia is currently preparing an analytical article based on the conference’s findings - we will announce its publication in the near future.
We are proud that a lecturer from the MIM Business School has represented Ukraine with distinction on the international stage. Her participation in an event of this caliber is proof that Ukrainian voices are heard professionally and that we have something to share with the world. And because of leaders like Nadiia, the world better understands Ukraine’s strength, resilience, and immense potential.
