Iryna Tykhomyrova, MIM’s President Receives the Award of Thinkers50, Management Ideas Ranking 

International cooperation

Iryna Tykhomyrova, President of MIM Business School, was honored with the prestigious <a href="https://thinkers50.com/biographies/iryna-tykhomyrova/">Thinkers50 Founders' Award</a>, recognizing her leadership in the world of business ideas and inspiration. Awarded biennially since 2019, this accolade acknowledges individuals who shape industry leadership and contribute to the foundation for future prosperity.
The award ceremony, held in London during the annual event recognizing leading thinkers, highlighted Tykhomyrova's achievement in the Reinforce UA project. This initiative, featuring the <a href="https://reinforceua.com/">MIM Global Knowledge Hub</a>, is an educational platform fostering dialogue between global intellectuals and Ukrainian society. Notably, MIM Business School hosted free online meetings throughout the year with influential thinkers, including Alex Ostarwalder, Philip Kotler, Charles Camarda, Ken Schmidt, Soren Kaplan, and Gillian Tett.
In her acceptance speech, Tykhomyrova addressed the ongoing war in Ukraine, emphasizing the global challenge it poses and the role of educators in rethinking responsibility. Despite daily challenges, she expressed gratitude to international partners for supporting MIM's educational initiatives, stating, 'I am sure that everyone in this room will agree that the global security system as we knew ceased to exist in February 2022, and a new system has yet to be created. The war today is a global challenge to rethink our role and responsibility as educators. Every day Russia kills our defenders and civilians, destroys homes and infrastructure. But despite all this, we continue to fight for our right to a happy life, continue to teach, invest in economic growth and business development, in our future.'
The Reinforce UA project has published a collection of lectures on leadership, innovation, and the future. The new season, starting November 8, 2023, features meetings with Maryna Horbis, Executive Director of the Institute for the Future, and a lecture by Stepan Oreshkovych, President of the Supervisory Board of IEDC Bled School of Management, scheduled for November 15, focusing on creating a winning business ecosystem."
