Global leadership and social intelligence were the focal points of discussion at the Management Caf&eacute; moderated by Oleksandr Sudarkin, MBA programs director, and Vsevolod Zelenin, business trainer, and coach to business leaders, CEO of ZeleninLab, and MIM-Kyiv visiting professor. Vsevolod has more than 25 years of practice in the US, Canada, Israel, and CIS countries.
Can an average Ukrainian CEO run a multinational? How to lead globally? Oleksandr Sudarkin wanted the participants to answer those questions. He also asked them to make up a checklist of the qualities and competencies of global leaders. The final list looked like that:

<li>Finding solutions;</li>
<li>Flexibility;</li>
<li>Transparent behavior in crisis;</li>
<li>Reputation;</li>

<li>Following the same rules;</li>
<li>Bottom-up decision-making;</li>
<li>Fluent English;</li>
<li>Monitoring of the personal resources.</li>
</ul>

Vsevolod Zelenin discussed the social intellect concept as a sum of competencies that secure successful social interactions. He also talked about social escalator strategies. The audiences evaluated social intelligence strategies afterward. There are 8 strategies:Patronage;

<li>Army;</li>
<li>Show notoriety;</li>
<li>Sport;</li>
<li>&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Those who understand which strategies are more natural for them can reach hights in any profession.
