KBU Awards 2025: Non-Fiction Prize Ceremony at MIM Business School

MIM Business School hosted a significant event for Ukraine's book market and intellectual community - the KBU Awards 2025 ceremony. The prize recognizes the best non-fiction publications shaping contemporary Ukrainian thought. The event was organized by the Knyzhkove Zernia platform, with MIM Business School serving as its strategic partner.
This year's ceremony brought together the best of Ukraine's intellectual community - authors, publishers, business representatives, cultural figures, and jury members. The event was both formal and remarkably warm. KBU Awards 2025 was more than a ceremony, it was a meaningful show of support for Ukrainian non-fiction, which continues to develop even in wartime.
Alongside the main awards, special distinctions were presented.
Iryna Tykhomyrova, President of MIM Business School and jury member in the Personal Development category, announced the decision to recognize the book Soft Skills: Be Yourself by Olena Zhyltsova and Volodymyr Stanchyshyn, published by Vikhola. The book was recognized for its innovative reframing of soft skills as a complete worldview system for the modern manager.
Presenting the award - a scholarship for the pre-MBA Business program - Iryna Tykhomyrova noted:

"It was a great honor for me to serve on the jury. This is an enormously important project for us, and our award in the Personal Development category carries real meaning. Among the books we reviewed, a significant number dealt with processing trauma and difficult psychological experiences. There was also a category focused on quality of life. But “Soft Skills: Be Yourself” stood out for its unique approach.
It resonates perfectly with MIM's values, because business and society are inseparable. We tend to think of soft skills as a set of individual tools that need to be taught. The authors of this book invite us to look at it differently - like a photograph: it is you, your own reflection. As you grow as a person, your soft skills develop naturally alongside you. This is a sincere and substantive work that helps build a new society. We are glad to support the authors and offer them the opportunity for further professional growth at MIM Business School."
