Last Saturday of June Mr. Tshepo Phakathi, the founder, and CEO of Phakathi Capital from South Africa visited MIM and delivered a guest lecture to SE MBA students. “Prominent entrepreneurs, statesmen or politicians’ lectures are incorporated in the SE MBA curriculum. Such lectures allow seeing the world from the different perspective,” Dr. Vycheslav Pokotylo, MIM’s vice-president said. “Sharing success and successful experiences is a good way to complement the curriculum.”Mr. Phakathi is one of the brightest entrepreneurs in his home country. His company is a boutique investment banking business with specialized technical expertise in M&A and capital raising across various debt and equity-based instruments. He is also a visiting professor of the Gordon Institute of Business Science, MIM’s partner in the SAR. He is also one of the speakers of the of the Johannesburg module organized by the GIBS.
