MIM Business School has launched a new course - "Strategic Management and Strategic Marketing" - for students of the <a href="https://mim.kyiv.ua/programs/pre-MBA_biznes">pre-MBA</a><a href="https://mim.kyiv.ua/programs/pre-MBA_biznes"> </a><a href="https://mim.kyiv.ua/programs/pre-MBA_biznes">Business</a> and <a href="https://mim.kyiv.ua/programs/pre-MBA_marketyng">pre-MBA Marketing programs</a>.
The course brings together two core management disciplines - strategy and marketing - treating them as interconnected elements of a single business management system. Students develop a clearer understanding of how a well-run business should operate: how processes, procedures, and functions affect the performance of the entire company, from marketing to finance.
The course is taught by Vadym Saveliev and Mykola Brylenko - a duo with strong hands-on backgrounds in marketing, commerce, and business model development, with a shared goal of making the learning experience as practical as possible.
Vadym Saveliev, course instructor and Associate Professor at MIM Business School, puts it this way:

"It's hard to build a great product without a solid management system. And you can't build an effective management system without a great product. You could spend a long time debating which comes first - the chicken or the egg. Mykola Brylenko and I decided the best approach was to combine strategic management and strategic marketing into a single course. Mykola brings deep experience in commerce and business model development; I come from marketing and product development. Together we built a practical course with real-world examples, frameworks, and step-by-step tools. I'm confident this experimental format will be both engaging and valuable for our students."

Mykola Brylenko, course instructor and former Development Director at DCLINK Group and Rozetka, shares his perspective:
