On June 25, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Ruslana Velychko-Trifoniuk as Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine for European Integration. She graduated from the Pre-MBA Leadership program in 2023. Prior to her appointment, Ruslana served as an advisor to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine and the Minister of Veterans Affairs, and acted as the Executive Director of the Ukrainian Veterans Fund. She also managed foreign economic activities at the Come Back Alive Foundation, including the procurement of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and cooperation with Baykar in the supply of Bayraktars.
Ruslana Velychko was recognized in the TOP 100 Women rating for her contribution to the defense of the country and the veteran community by Ukrayinska Pravda.
"Having completed an intense period of study at MIM Business School, I was convinced of the incredible value of the knowledge and skills I gained, which have become an integral part of my work. MIM provided me with the tools that allowed me to transition from being just a 'boss' to a true leader who can inspire and motivate a team. As a result, I became a leader capable of implementing the development strategy of the organization. This knowledge and these skills help me respond effectively to the challenges of modern public administration. I am confident that these skills will become even more valuable in the future," Ruslana Velychko recalls her studies at MIM.
Earlier, Natalia Kalmykova, an MBA student at MIM, was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense. In 2023, Vitalii Deynega, an MBA graduate, was responsible for developing the digital capabilities of the Ukrainian army as Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation, and Digitalization.
